You take charge of our concept design track – an essential part of the Strategy approach at November Five.
Your end goal is to create and pitch concept presentations that convince C-level of our clients and are the perfect starting point for the tangible definition of a product.
To reach this point, your day-to-day activities fall in two categories: ideation and concept design.
You are an integral part of our ideation/co-creation sessions, taking the ideas of your fellow strategists and partners to the next level. You understand strategic ideas and propositions, and are able to quickly distill them into functional ideas and tangible sketches and mockups, digital and analogue.
Outside of the ideation sessions, you also take care of the actual execution of concept design. You’ll be part of an multidisciplinary team that includes Strategy Analysts, Strategy Managers and Strategy Project Managers, who will challenge your ideas and output. Together, you’ll prioritise the generated ideas alongside the client finding the balance between vision and realism – you can make decisions for the next 5 hours, while keeping the next 5 years in mind.
In practical terms, you will define and write down user journeys and use cases, and then sketch and design visual representations of them. You decide on the best format to present your concept, whether that’s a presentation, video, infographic, … – as long as it’s the best starting point for a compelling digital product. And it goes without saying that your decisions are based on your knowledge and research of design and consumer behaviour.
- You have at least 4 years of proven experience (portfolio!) - in defining and creating UX/UI for a variety of applications, products and platforms, and in creating visual customer journeys and scenarios.
- You have a winning mentality – you go the extra mile.
- You’re a true team-player!
- You can adapt and switch between several ongoing projects.
- You have strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- You know how to choose the right wording for both conversational interfaces, and compelling presentations.
- You know your way around Keynote, Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of motion graphics or prototyping software are a big fat plus!
November Five is a place unlike any other: we work hard to find the perfect balance between culture, individual growth and reward.
You become part of a high-performing organisation and an enthusiastic team with a mindset to win! Together, we raise the bar by continuously improving our way of working and ourselves: we challenge clients, projects and processes by first and foremost defining and following our methodology. We always retrospect our projects to formulate a plan of attack for an even superior next one.
To grow as a team, as well as individually, lifelong learning is embedded in our bi-weekly afternoons. They allow you to experiment with new tools and methods, research new disciplines or take the lead in one of your improvement proposals. We’re no strangers to conferences nor talks either, whether we’re attending or hosting one in our offices.
And as a final piece of the puzzle, we ensure that our remuneration blueprint can be tailored to your personal needs and efforts. We all enjoy flexible office hours and an equally flexible income plan. There are some cherries on top, including a breakfast and fresh daily lunch, made by our own chef, and an office space you’ll be happy to call home.
